The Grand Leicester

The Grand Hotel Leicester is a Grade II listed historic hotel located on Granby Street in the city centre of Leicester, England. Designed by Cecil Ogden and Amos Hall, it was built between 1897–98 by Orson Wright. The hotel oozes Victorian elegance with its sweeping The Grand Leicesterstaircase, original chandeliers, and ornate ballroom, which is available for weddings. Additionally, the hotel offers 7 meeting rooms with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the premises. Essential works were provided by MEC Fire Services in January, to upgrade exiting fire doors in a timely manner to ensure safety with minimum disruption to the day to day running of the busy hotel.
