Although July is, on average, the warmest month of the year in the northern hemisphere, it has felt more like its southern hemisphere equivalent, January.
But with new high end contracts starting in beautiful locations this month, MEC is not dwelling on our lack of Summer!
With this new contract we will be providing essential fire door upgrading works to the town house hotel, Royal London starting this month, to ensure this busy city hotel is elevated to the highest fire safety standards.
July will also see us providing essential maintenance at The Brewery, in London.
The Brewery has consistently been recognised as one of London’s leading venues for over half a decade. As the capital’s ultimate event venue, the Brewery has hosted events ranging from government conferences, corporate product launches, star-studded charity events and prestigious award ceremonies. The choice of six rooms, in the heart of the city, caters for 10 to 1000 people in a setting that marries 18th century architecture with cutting-edge technology and an attitude that sets the pace of the event industry. The Brewery has worked hard to provide clients with a Corporate Social Responsibility policy that is achievable and measurable for all of their events, large and small. Just by making the smallest of changes, the Brewery can help to make a big difference in the global events sector. Testament to this is the venue has recently achieved the British Standard ISO 20121:2012 Event Sustainability System.
With this prestigious hotel striving to be a leader in event sustainability, it is imperative MEC Fire Services is committed to withhold these standards in our work.
Essential maintenance will continue for our clients G4S, providing ongoing fire safety upgrades to ensure the highest levels of protection for staff and students in their London schools.
As these contracts will continue into August, time management is as always, vital.
