April

The wet and windy weather of April, saw MEC Fire Services attend numerous emergency works alongside the planned works at Doubletree Excel London and G4S schools.

As well as scheduled maintenance, fire safety work often entails providing an emergency service to fix faults caused by accidents and extreme weather. MEC Fire delivered a swift response to ensure a door at a G4S school in London was repaired to maintain the building’s passive fire protection. Another call out saw our MEC team repair a balcony door that had been damaged by the extreme winds, thus ensuring adequate security for the client.

Windy Umbrella

June will be an important month, with works to be finalised at Doubletree Excel London and move on to the next contract in Bath, whilst still supporting other clients with reactive and planned maintenance.

We will be hoping for some brighter weather as there is lots of travelling for Director Brent, with surveys nationwide.
